We offer a strategic partnership for our clients, as we have gained expertise in developing new production technologies from laboratory to regular production of intermediates, active pharmaceutical ingredients and pharmacopoeial quality finished dosage forms.
In-house Manufacturing Capabilities
Our key strengths lie in our fermentation and technical expertise developed over more than half a century at our European manufacturing sites. Huvepharma®’s group of companies has three manufacturing facilities and two blending sites in Europe, plus another five mixing and blending sites in the USA. Following the 2019 completion of our new fermentation plant in Peshtera, Bulgaria, we now have a total fermentation capacity of over 10000 m3, one of the largest fermentation capacities of any company in the world. In addition, we have a total chemical synthesis capacity of over 700 m3.
We have in-house capabilities for every step in the production process, starting with strain identification, selection and purification and finishing with the delivery of finished products to our global customers. Our downstream production facilities include:
